  5. Green woodworking workshop in the making

    Hello!
I'm an amateur green woodworker, setting up an outside workshop in my garden.
I'm looking for woodchippings for ground covering whilst I get set up, and also a supply of green/freshly cut hardwood (any species really! 8cm or greater diameter branches) for carving and turning on a traditional pole lathe. I'm happy to help dispose of things for free, or pay for bits and pieces (prices agreed in advance - send me a message to discuss!)
Access is easy - it's a domestic property with a driveway, and a clear space at the front for things to be dropped.
    Thanks very much!

  6. Narrow Lane Market Garden

We are a small market garden in Ticknall. The tip site is is just off a narrow road with a 7.5 Tonne limit. There is a double gate into the field, and a single gate into the tip area.
Phone reception around here can be quite poor, so you might want to text instead.

  7. Brackendale Church Lane

Private garden, access via tarmac drive from Church Lane with plenty of turning space for regular sized tree surgery vehicles, and space to tip out.
I would like to gather woodchip which I will compost for my garden; either clean or with some leaf matter, would be great. Happy to take up to 30% coniferous within a load.
I am happy to pay a small sum.

  9. Alistair LGC

On a main road through Letchworth, so an easy place to find and drop off.

Wide entry to a gravel driveway and woodchips can be simply dumped in a parking bay, where I can then spirit them away in a wheelbarrow at my leisure.

Woodchips in the region of 2 cubic m would be perfect for the endless garden chores of keeping down the weeds and mulching up the plants!

Wooden gates only open inward, and wood can be tipped, stacked near the bin area.

Looking to build up a woodstore for the burner for the better days that we spend outside.
