  1. Companies in the UK are always looking for groundies who are willing to work, and there's great learning opportunities that come with it if you find the right crew. Generally speaking, you can either fund your own tickets and climbing kit to 'fast track' your career, or have the company gradually fund your training and provide kit (which, in return, likely comes with a lower rate of pay). Not sure what the work visa situation is like for Italians since Brexit. Your background is similar to mine, so feel free to send me a message. I wish you luck at the start of your arb career!
  2. Hey, If you're looking for work in Sweden, there's a company in Stockholm called Jacksons Trädvård hiring (in English) who can help with work sponsorship and whatnot. I think it's run by an English fella, so he recognizes NPTC. I'm on the west coast, looking for work - I'll let you know what I find. Lycka till!
  3. Thanks for the reply! Do you remember what the company or govt agency was called? Did they need you to speak Swedish?
  4. Hey all, I'm moving to Gothenburg next month (yes, right in the middle of winter 🙃), and am looking for tree surgery work. Anyone know of any good leads? Will arrive with CS30, 31, 38 & 39, as well as groundie/second climber experience. Got my own PPE, climbing kit, and top handle. I have a visa with working rights sorted, and will focus on becoming proficient at Swedish through 2025. If anyone has any ideas on where to start, I'd love to hear em. Thanks.
