  1. This is my personal opinion; the Squirrel is a terrible and over-rated stove. The iron panels are just too thin to sustain prolonged use with a hot fire. Even with the firebricks in place, the panels will warp meaning the stove no longer seals properly or is controllable. I have two bent, cracked Squirrels in my metal pile. It would be five stoves worth of bentness but I started turning them down. I really dislike the Aga Little Wenlock because it just isn'tas pretty as the Coalbrookdale original. I only recently learned about Clearview stoves. My neighbour had one installed and it'sa serious performer even if the design is a little conservative. I have a small collection including a Coalbrookdale Darby in my workshop, a Stovax Stockton 7 as the sole source of heating in my 'flat'. I have a 'Morsana' which is an art deco rarity, Two cylinder stoves, a small unknown German one and an old Smith and Wellstood. I also have a Jotul 606. In terms of the Squirrel, the Esse Montrose I had for a while was much better.

Sadly I have to sell my XD drill. It is complete and tidy however I have never tried to run it. Turns over nice and smooth. I'm not sure if there is a spark but it has been on a shelf for so long that I imagine that the points would need a clean at least. I haven't dismantled the drill or tried to run it so I thought I'd leave any such work up to the new owner. Any questions, just ask. If you would like more pictures again, just ask. I'll add the serial number as soon as I can. This item is located in Scotland but I'm flexible about sending it.
