Due to one of our excellent staff stepping up to a management position with a new company we are looking for a Climber / Team Leader with appropriate NPTC Chainsaw Certificates (ground and aerial) and several years of experience in the industry. We are looking for someone who can take charge of a team, ensure the right equipment is taken to jobs, follow the paperwork, complete risk assessments and ensure that jobs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. You will be the main contact on site for customers and liaise between site staff and management. We are looking to expand our team with a new Full or Part time Tree surveyor. We are starting on a project with a national company to survey over 1000 sites across the UK on a phased project over the next 3-5 years, we have also recently started working with an organisation carrying out tree inspections for insurance claims related to subsidence and property damage - both will bring very regular work. In addition we have pretty regular calls for Tree Condition Surveys / Risk Assessments at Schools and colleges, Mortgage reports and occasional BS5837 Planning surveys (an area we are looking to expand). We are looking for a Surveyor to join our team and help to build the consultancy side of the business, we would be open to a new qualified surveyor, and experienced Arborist looking to move off the tools, or an experienced Consultant. Salary between £27-37k negotiable depending on experience (may consider more for the right candidate), we will also provide a vehicle (or expenses), laptop/tablet/ipad as required and additional training where needed.
