  1. Thanks, that makes sense. I'll split and bag it and keep it separate until its moisture levels drops.
  2. I'm about to fell a tree that's badly infected with bracket fungus along the whole length of the trunk. Any advice if it can be cut and stored as firewood or will it rot and spread fungus to my other firewood? Thanks
  3. Anyone here with a decent stump grinder, such as Rayco RG80 or ideally a tracked machine, that can tackle a 4ft diameter beech stump. It's from a toppled tree and the root ball hasn't gone back so the stump is at 45 degrees. Bradford, West Yorkshire. Thanks [EDIT: I've found someone to do the job - please ignore]
