  1. Eternal optimism 🤣🤣🤣Also very true. what would it fetch on fleabay as is?
  2. Log burners just chuck it in like a scuttle of coal. Anything big pick through it and sort.
  3. Would be my next option however they wouldn’t fit an aftermarket part and probably would think the cylinder is not salvageable..
  4. Anyone? 😔😔😔
  5. Anyone fancy having a look and sticking a meteor piston in her?!
  6. Here we go all..
  7. Not sure to be honest, I’ve had it 8 years. Is there a way to tell from the serial number or similar?
  8. I would agree, I just don’t think 40:1 or slightly richer than 50:1 with good fuel and oil is going to have caused this.
  9. Don’t think that’s going to lean it out though is it?
  10. 40:1 for this saw and husqvarna xp oil. Pretty anal about my fuel and mixes, no fuel sits and if it’s not used it goes.
  11. Photos on thread now sir
  12. Pictures for you all… you’re going to tell me it needs a full rebuild 🤣🥲
  13. Thanks all for your input. I did look at head of piston through the spark plug and it didn’t look too bad. Quite a bit of carbon fouling on the spark plug itself though? I will try and get a picture of the bore tomorrow and post it.
  14. Any contacts for purchasing timber by the artic load? Located on Anglesey but obviously not far from vast forestry. Would consider arb waste to a degree. Can collect from sites if needed and happy to process my own stuff if any small scale low impact forestry work is needed. thanks Ron
  15. My 372xp has been a very reliable saw. I was cutting with it a few days ago and it got very hot, smoked and cut out. Now it won’t start and is giving a pop when choked, and again as if it has fired with no choke. Ive cleaned it thoroughly, replaced spark plug. To no avail. Any initial thoughts? thanks
  16. Where are you I’ll cut it up for firewood no charge 😊😁
  17. What’s the going price/tonne for firewood grade not super straight (processor-able stuff) for hardwood and softwood? Probably collected on 8 tonne timber trailer. Cheers
  18. Never thought of that 😁🤦🏻‍♂️
  19. Anyone? North wales forestry companies? Contractors? Money waiting and a slice of cake 😁
  20. Full load of hardwood wanted lots of ash die back thinning and felling happening. Yard to drop off. Will pay. Options considered. Anglesey - Near Church bay
  21. 30th June here and burning some hawthorn and birch. Damp and 11 degrees!
  22. Long way from Devon this! Staffs moorlands! Plenty of coppicing to ground level, at least we can make it regenerate properly for the next hedgelayer to come along! Landowner is pleased anyway, plenty of firewood and the pleachers we’ve chosen and used are generally good.
  23. Couple of pics for you and bits we’ve done. Not so nice!!
  24. Lowest coppice stool is about 18 inch off the ground, so multi stemmed above that and tall! Definitely more productive to re coppice properly but we’ve been asked to lay it so we shall try! Not following any particular style, it may get some stakes in it to secure pleachers. Cheers
