  1. it will be used for both mate. I was just wondered whether with a 30inch bar they're quite useful for logging up and occasionally in the tree. as i say im not impressed with a 661, think the 500 cuts alot better for its weight.
  2. Thinking of getting a 881. what do they run like with a 30 inch bar? I'm thinking it would get more use with 30 inch bar. I have a 500 so don't se the point in getting a 661. Plus I've used a 661 with a 36 inch bar before and didn't rate it. So in my opinion a 661 with 28 or 25 doesn't have much advantage if any over a 500 with a 25. What does the 881 run like with a 41 inch bar? for milling potentially..
  3. yeah fair point, I fancy getting a series as a project when I have the time. so it could come in very handy
  4. I could find a total volume size for them so cheers. Thats handy to know that it still can be legal when full as it kind of defeats the purpose bit for me, although im guessing you rarely break 30% which is now the threshold for potential court summons, where as with a 3.5 tipper im guessing most of the time folk are 50% at least.
  5. It’s a td5 15p mate, had stage 2 map and intercooler. Bout 180bhp, pulls pretty well
  6. my mistake for posting this in employment
  7. Looking at getting an ifor tipping trailer to tow behind my 130. Going down this route for payload reasons compared to getting another tipper truck. Just comparing the 12ft vs 10 ft (will be getting one with chequer sides). Pay load wise they look similar. obviously you get more in the 12, potentially overloaded with chip if full? Do you really need a 12? Is the 12 a nightmare to manoeuvre and tow? bags of logs, will the 10 fit 6 bulks bags and the 12, fit 8? Which do you guys prefer and why? cheers, Jimmy
  8. Ive been told you never lay it with a month with an R in. Any frost after fresh pleaching cuts can kill it.
  9. I'm free for weekends mate. 07723050902
