  1. I spoke to honeys regarding the tending issue before crimbo. They said notch were looking into it. They advised using a narrow profile karabiner. I took mine out for its first run today, with a dmm oval it was a no go, jammed straight away like in the videos doing the rounds. switched to a hms mini super safe an it worked fine, bird was much friendlier on the hands and the lack of pulley wansnt noticed as much as i thought it might be on ascent, tending slack or when pulling slack through to install redirects. Curious to see how it goes in the wet, always found the pro sucked.
  2. Hi there. Seen some social media stuff highlighting an issue with slack tending. how have you found it?
  3. Brilliant. Cheers for the replys guys, much appreciated.
  4. I see. Think il switch it back then. I know il need to fit a corresponding worm gear to match the sprocket, will i need to change anything else to do with the oiling system?
  5. Hi all. Follwed this forum for donkeys, but first time posting. Recently had my 200t pretty much rebuilt. Guy who carried out the work switched the sprocket from a 6 pin up to a 7, saying it would improve the performance of the saw. Will it? Iv a 150 for all pruning works, so the 200t is 90% removals. I run a 14" bar for this reason, semi-chisel chain, saw is stock, no mods or porting. Will the 7 pin improve its cutting through larger timber? Or am i better off switching it back?
