  1. Bump. I'm really good at my job, you're missing out.
  2. Good all-round climber with 15 years experience. Worked for a variety of firms but primarily in the domestic sector. All relevant NPTCs, PPE and climbing kit, driving licence and own transport. Currently sub-contracting but would consider a f/t position. Polite, well presented and good customer service skills. Works well in a team, able to guide apprentices etc. Beautiful reductions a speciality but equally confident doing big rigging/dismantles and not scared of an overgrown conifer hedge. Also happy hedgetrimming or grounding as required. High standard of work and quality clean up afterwards. 07933100277 for more info. Best to phone rather than pm as I'm not always online.
  3. The way to make this industry more inclusive isn't the joke 'ergonomic' ppe and kit that is being pushed. It will be when people stop making it 'a thing' and lets us get on with our job like the rest of you.
  4. Also, shame on the industry that I am the only woman to answer this post.
  5. I've been asked a few times on an interview/trial "where do you piss?". Stupid question. Baffling, as the answer is the same as for a bloke..."when the need arises I piss wherever I can". If the customer (domestic work) is in then I always ask to use the loo... I dunno why blokes don't, its more polite than passing in the garden and often prompts them into offering a cuppa. If that ain't an option then hide behind a hedge. Anyone who would question or avoid employing a lass on the grounds of toilet facilities isn't worth working for. It's not flippin' rocket science.
  6. No problem with the colour pink, just with the gender stereotype!
  7. Oh, and they also come in a trendy boot cut style that don't stretch over yer steel toes so all the sawdust etc goes straight in 🙄
  8. Yeah but only if you buy the women's fit version, because even though they are PPE for some reason the manufacturers still insist on only making the lasses gear in a fetching pink or purple. I guess they think we want to look effeminate while we're wielding saws and hefting logs around...
