  1. Portek Logmaster and similar products may be worth looking at if you want the saw fixed to the device. Timber Croc and other similar claw clamping devices another way to go or a £20 saw horse. I use an Elu Superjaws for heavier, awkward shaped lengths and an Oregon 581546 saw horse (stack load type) for straight material if I'm not sawing the wood where it's lying. Superjaws type now marketed by Triton and Worx I think plus others. This has many more uses than just for wood. Mine is very heavy, but I think has a tone of foot operated clamping pressure. If picking up the chainsaw and/or starting it each time is an issue, think about getting a battery saw and a few batteries. Got an Ozito/Einhell 18volt that I used for trimming out hedging waste and you can get loads of other things to use the batteries with. Chain speed is slow, but then the big brands are a lot more money. Think I read on here that the 36volt Einhell is much better.
