York - North Yorkshire We are looking for an Arborist with at least 3/4 years experience to work within our Tree Surgery Team on a regular basis, one/two days a week with a steady stream of work. We carry out all types of Tree and Hedge work for both Local Authorities and Domestic Clients and as such every day is varied. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years climbing experience and hold CS units up to a minimum of CS39 (or equivalent) with CS40 and CS41 being ideal. Driving License is essential along with part B&E (towing) as you’ll need to tow a Chipper, although B&E license isn't a deal breaker. A friendly and pleasant work environment within a Company that has been trading for over 21 years awaits the right Sub-Contractor. Daily rate negotiable depending on experience.   5. **We are Hiring** ** Immediate Start** We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced, and competent either, full time or contract Tree Surgeon/Climber who can carry out both aerial and ground-based operations to our high standard and at good speed. You would be required to climb daily. You would be responsible for the organisation of the working day including daily maintenance, the completion of relevant paperwork and to liaise with customers. Included also in this role is the management of staff. You would need the ability to demonstrate intuition and motivation. You would need to be able to use various vehicles and the associated equipment i.e, Woodchippers, and Stump Grinders. The following skills and qualifications are essential: • Be highly motivated and able to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality. • Minimum full UK driving licence with B&E Towing • Arboricultural qualifications such as NPTC 201, 202,203 (formally known as CS30 & CS31), NPTC 206, 306 & 308 (formally known as CS38 & CS39) or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years’ climbing experience. • Proven experience in arboriculture. • You will have need to have good communication skills, a highly flexible approach and be good a team player who takes pride in their work. Other desirable qualifications include CS40/41, PA1 and First Aid at Work. Suitable candidates will be invited to interview and asked to attend paid trial days to demonstrate their ability. Excellent rates of pay for both contact work and the full time position. We are a well-established (over 20 years) and long standing, family business working in both private and commercial sectors.
