Where are you? If close to south Durham you can come and take my old one for nowt. It’s manual not electric

  3. I had no near neighbours until the farmer adjoining me decided to apply for a house build 50 metres from the front of my house.
I made a point of objecting by amongst other things siting that I was damned if I was going to have to adapt chainsaw and other noisy pastimes through having a neighbour imposed on me. It turned out that they ignored all my valid objections. Took it to the Ombudsman and it cost over 40 K to slightly mitigate the breaches in vehicular access onto the main road. Luckily my neighbours a noisy bastard too[emoji1787]

Bit like me. Lived here 28 years, completely surrounded by farmland until a few years ago when 50 houses went up in a horses field I was given the option to buy for 10k when I moved in but was strapped. One fecker complained about the cockerel crowing! I said he was here first

  5. Most evenings when I take my beautiful dog out I take my rifle (mostly because she loves it when I do believe it or not) and I cannot remember the time I shot any thing (up my track). Did see a brown hare bolting up a tractor track in the wheat last night as well as a weasel poking his head out of a hole. Could smell a badger. Haven’t seen a hedgehog for years.
