    Tree root question

    Thank you very much for helping!!! There is about 6 meters from where I found the bulge a big white barked tree in my neighbors garden (see attached pic). Also I believe where I live used to be a forest before the house was built 50 years ago so it could be there are lots of roots in the ground. I also have a flower bed which I regularly water around the old trunk I am getting worried, I just saw 2 more places where the floor is raised! Thank you for your help!

  3. In my house there was a tree cut down about 4 years ago (pic 3) Just now under the wooden decking in the picture the tiles cracked and were raised. I investigated and found these roots with this mound of growth (pic 1). I was wondering if you know what it is. Its only a meter from my house. Should I be worried? I just cut it out and filled it with sand but is there more I should do. Thank you very much for your time and help Also does anyone know what type of tree this was?
