  1. We run a small charity which has acquired a 16 acre sit in Dunblane. The sit is for the enjoyment of all, its a wild area with a number of new paths, woodland and grasses. A few large trees (mainly beeches) have been cut down, and we would like to create some natural seating for people. We thought each of the local schools could take one on a design project with simple motifs etc, we would then like to hit each carved. After speaking to Mike Dempsey, who recommended this site I was wondering if anyone had advice about this. We would like to find someone who would be willing to take on the carving (for a fee) and what the best way to preserve the beech wood, would be. Thank you for your help !

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
