Protector of the woods.

Glad I stumbled upon this forum. I cut a tree clearing a path at the weekend. I just took my chainsaw extension up and did it and cleared some other pathway too. I just chucked the logs to the side. I don't really care about any law. I'm doing no wrong. The whole field has been neglected since the council sub-contracted out all the gardening services. They're not interested, I am, so why should they care if I sort out the field?

I've been struggling getting down the steps between my house and next door with the dogs. Hedge completely overgrown and bits of tree hanging over. I cut a bit already and just chucked it back. He hadn't even noticed. He saw me with the dogs before I went out at the weekend and asked what routes I take. This lead to me telling him how I've been clearing neglected paths in the woods. I then mentioned his hedge and asked if I could cut it with my new Hyundai multi strimmer that I bought for the woods. I told him I'd done a bit already but needed better equipment (which I now have). He was fine with it. Better ask him about all the cut off before I do anymore I think!
