Need your help, to where I can get this part photo below? The part out off a Dormak CR 53 pro? A guy who fixes lawnmowers told me he can't get the part. I can get these diagrams https://www.vegemac.be/smartcat/media/CR_53_H.pdf for the Dormak but the break down is not here for the gear box. Can anyone help or is anyone else ever had this problem ?

Ok heated the housing up well took pinion out off freezer drop it into housing work a treat.
Now my wee problem is getting the side pinion back into place. Any help would be great @spudulike

Or will I have to tap these pinions back in ?
-
The problem wasn't heating the housing up enough. Had ago there give them a good heat 3 bangs on work bench and fell out.
Right will I put the pinion in the freezer for 30mins, then heat the housing up take out off freezer and drop into housing ?

Ok back to heating it up again tomorrow. Need to try and get something to try and push it out when heated. Don't think the hammer is enough or grip to pull it out.
-
Will I use a rubber mallet ?
-
Yes undo the grub screw. I took it off completely. @spudulike I'm afraid to hit it to hard in case I crack the housing
-
@swinny heat the housing up and you should be able to tap the side pinion out. I try lots of times heating the housing up to get the inside pinion out with NO joy
-
One down one to go which is the hardest. I been heating the housing up but the one in the inside doesn't want to come out .
