  1. Have you worked in the US? I personally haven’t, but I have worked in Australia with similar size trees & landscape. I can assure there is way more space, and less obstacles. Bold if you like but an educated statement.
  2. We have qualifications over that you need to have to be employed. Regardless of how good your climbing is the company you work for won’t be able to have you under their insurance. This basically translates to you earning shit money regardless of how good your climbing is. If you’re serious about coming to the UK, look up NPTC qualification and book an intensive week course if you have experience. Spend money to make money. I worked with a guy from the US good enough climber, but was on groundsman money. He couldn’t get his head round it and eventually left. There 100% a demand for climbers over here mate, smaller trees than the US but way more technical stuff.

  5. Hey! Unfortunately no I haven’t, I mean it’s probably not the best time to look for overseas work but I’m a chancer. CTC recruitment had a job in Stockholm for a climber. Could be worth looking into.
  6. Hi, I’m getting cabin fever and I’m curious to know if there’s any leads on potential work around Europe? Ideally for a couple months but if something more permanent came up I’d still be interested. 7 years experience- comfortable in all aspects of tree work i.e large & small pruning, large & small dismantles & crane work. Experienced in running crews and operating machinery unimogs, mewps, skidsteers & diggers. All relevant NPTC & first aid. I’ve worked in Australia & Sweden so have a rough idea of what expected when working abroad. Many thanks, Adam.
