  3. Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to buy an acre of woodland for me to coppice? Woodland is oak/hornbeam. And im in the kent area. There is probably about 60 Tonne of wood so how much would a timber lorry cost to take that away aswell?? Thanks [emoji4]

  17. Hi all, I was just wondering what everyone thinks is the most efficient way to deal with the brash/ log bits that aren’t suitable for extraction when coppicing? Fire...chipper...slosh it up.. etc Any advice appreciated thanks

  19. Thanks everyone, the trees are about 16 inches in diameter, i bought 2 stihl aluminium wedges but the first time i used them they snapped in half when i hit them. This is why i wanted to try out a steel wedge [emoji106]

  21. Hi all, i wanted to buy a steel wedge for felling but i dont think you can use them anymore so no where sells them, so does anyone know where i could buy a steel felling wedge? Thanks Also i bought a steel splitting wedge and i am filing it down so it is a bit narrower and fits into the kerf, would this work? Any help appreciated thanks
