  1. I tried lots of things to remedy this stalling problem (stalling when brake applied) - including the replacement clutch springs . . . to no avail. Finally sorted it, once I replaced the needle bearing. The body of the original needle bearing was plastic, causing the clutch drum to dip slightly on one side when the brake was applied. The replacement bearing is metal = no dipping. Thank f**k
