  1. Wondering wether to buy 2nd hand have also looked at the toro grinders. I’ve used a small camon for years now fed up with pushing it around and relying on hire companies to maintain it when they never do.
  2. Has anyone used or own a predator tracker stump grinder looking at investing in one after some research. Being built in the uk helps and dealers are located around the Norfolk area.
  3. Looking to purchase a large stump grinder that will fit through average size gates. This toro looks good for the price any reviews or other options or even 2nd hand t
  4. Hahaha not quite got the missus to do it instead…jokes. 😂 a company ordered a couple only needed one in the end so instead of cancelling it they sold it private saved £300 for the one I currently had in order which wasn’t coming until April and there could have been a further increase in price from now until then
  5. I’m not going to be keeping the 8ft trailer it’s a tt2515 but I’ve brought the tt3017 for the extra 2ft regarding concrete posts and fencing materials the 12ft would have been to big for manoeuvring in my clients driveways or the roads there. It will be paint for chipping into carrying garden waste wind carrying some aggregate and fencing materials my 8ft was perfect but the 8ft posts were just over 8ft so had to leave tail gate open all the time whilst transporting to jobs
  6. Thanks for the replies guys 👍
  7. Im currently towing an 8ft trailer but now looking to go next size up and start towing the 10ft ifor Williams, has anyone used both as I will be using it on a daily basis does it change your manoeuvring much? ie going round tight bends, reversing round tight areas to avoid ending up in a ditch or a pond etc. I know it’s not tree talk but most tree people or landscapers tend to use trailers cheers

i for williams tipping trailer tt2515 8x5. The photo is a picture from when I brought new in 2018 it’s due for a deep clean and wash this coming weekend has the odd scratch on the inside when been using chainsaws but nothing bad if it wasn’t for needing a 10ft tipping trailer due to increased fencing work I would be keeping it. Just went through a full service £300 new battery included before Christmas all tyres new from October so still lots of wear and tear on them it’s been used for landscaping garden waste. Perfect condition price is to sell 18 month wait on these £7,000 rrp viewings welcome also has 8ft steel ramps and light guards no time wasters Bank transfer. Local delivery.

    £5,000

  9. Sounds like rock stump grinder it is then thanks for all your help guys 👌
  10. It’s mainly really leylandi hedges never big big trees we usually turn down the bigger tree stump grinding jobs as we’re more landscaping and small trees so recommend the bigger trees to bigger companies who usually have a stump grinder
  11. Well considering I’m probably only using it once or twice a month it may be worth maybe buying one of the rock stump grinders instead of going all out. Stump grinding is only really something we do when removing hedges to put a fence up. Or removing small trees. Hire at 50-100 a day soon builds up and sometimes I struggle to get hold of one which then delays the jobs
  12. What’s the difference between self propelled and not? I thought apart from the large tracked ones you had to still sway it side to side like you do the smaller ones?
  13. Has anyone on here got the new rock stump grinder. Need to buy one as I’m always hiring. I currently hire the camon stump grinder which is a little beast but is £1500 more expensive. Moneys not really much of an issue I did like the predator 460 but looks quite big and may need lots of room to store
  14. Where would you send it off local spray centre. Is that quite a costly way of doing it?
  15. Thanks guys I’ll give it a go let you know how it goes
  16. I found something on eBay got good reviews cost £20 a ton so presumes it was probably half decent stuff. Just really touching up the bits where it’s faked away and maybe where some parts have rust.
  17. Has anyone on here touched up there greenmech chipper where the paint has flaked chipped or rusted I’ve found the genuine spray on eBay but need some help please

Greenmech cs100 18hp chipper. Great Little machine works first time every time. New set of sharpened blades worth £200 had for about 5 years used it 3 times month if that have started doing bigger jobs so need a road towable machine with roller feed.

    £3,500

Kings Lynn , Norfolk - GB

  19. Selling my cs100 if anyone is interested please pm me. Just purchased a good 2nd hand arb 130. Will give my hand a break for now 👍
  20. He’s changing his next week to an evo as thurlow nun are doing deals on them. So I’m getting the arborist next week. He’s going to fully service it out new blades on etc for £8,000 no vat to pay. Can’t wait 👍
  21. I know what your saying I know my friends machine has been really well looked after maintained properly are barely used. The Timberwolf for 11,500 plus the vat is a good price but I’m not vat registered so I won’t be able to claim that back. Where as the fact I’m only going to be using it once a week at most probably once a month in the summer when we’re gardening. It’s not really worth me spending too much money I’ve used gravity fed, and can’t believe I haven’t got arthritis in my hands already bloody hate gravity fed machines. I know even a second hand machine will probably see me through at least 10 years if it’s looked after and regularly serviced.
  22. What hours has it done? Just spoken to friend who also has the same machine 2017 model for 9,000 which has only done around 200 hours since new regards
  23. The arborist is around 14 plus vat and the Timberwolf160 I’ve been offered is 11,500 plus vat
  24. The Timberwolf is about £4,000 cheaper than the greenmech haven’t got a price for the forst yet though
  25. Which one would everyone recommend the greenmech arborist the Timberwolf t160 or the forst t6 in need of an upgrade from the wee chipper
