  1. Question about which chainsaw. I purchased a Stihl MS661C a few weeks ago but it only lasted less than two hours before the carb flooded. It was sent back and the carb replaced that lasted about 2 minutes or less. Now it's going to be replaced I going to change the model as I don't want this on going problem. I thinking of either Stihl MS880 or the Husqvarna 3120XP I using it on an Alaskan Mill is one better than the other as anyone had any problems with either. Thanks Ed
  2. I brought a MS661C a few weeks ago it run for 2 hours before it flooded the carb and stopped running. Sent it back they replaced the carb and it lasted about 2 minutes. Now being replaced
  3. Phoned the dealer today Honey Brothers they have said to start it cold and let it tick over on the choke for 90 seconds then cut a log and this resets the computerized carb. Other than that they want it back to repair it and it's done less than two hours. I think they will be exchanging it or refunding it!!!

  5. Hi help needed please I have a new Stihl MS661which I used today for the first time. It was use in an Alaskan Mill (another first) But after milling around 50' of timber the chainsaw dies when I squeeze the trigger (no power) It starts ok and ticks over. Filters look clean. Could anyone tell me what I should check next. Thanks Ed
