  1. There are varying differences to all the chippers your talking about not loads but a bit… I pop in now and then and do my best to keep with this thread. We have a comparative chipper to one we sell that is some 30kg lighter….theirs no counterweights on these its lost in the frame and other bits. Electric start vs non, swivel schute vs non, bearings….. electrics, battery’s and the like. The cost prices did go up last year but has fallen back a bit now and supply isn’t a huge issue at all. As a dealer there isn’t 40% mark up mind you so your not overpaying by that much
  2. We are probably the biggest stockist of Lumag UK and can say the HC15 is a fantastic tool. We actually only have one demo unit remaining but a few are due in the next week. The HC15 Pro is even better. I looked at Jansen but there is a very big difference in UK support and even attitude. We have been Lumag dealers for 5 years and hear very little, but by far the most popular product we do is the HC15 if you want any info or wish to visit us, bring some material and have a go
  3. Sadly very sensitive, long story short the owner and wife have some land. He had many projects to do and on the go including building cabins around a lake to rent out etc with his wife. Spent a long time researching and working with Eddie the right spec of machines for his needs. Found a machine sent it to JCC and had all the work carried out late 18 early 19. I think it was may time he found out he had C and was given a few months. Passed in sept age 40 iirc and that is the terribly sad story . His wife left with all his projects and ongoing. it’s probably better people know this as I have been asked a few times if it’s a failed project, can’t make it pay etc .
  4. Hi all I feel the need to defend this machine after reading some comments. There is a very genuine reason for sale. Please note we have not painted anything it isn't what we are about. I do appreciate sometimes a bit of paint isn't to everybody s tastes but this has had the tinyest amount of brush work by the previous keeper on a couple of panels which keeps it looking reasonable. It has not been repainted overall just two small panels and the rear counterweight. It has had no end of interest as you can imagine. A lovely machine. There is zero and i mean zero wear on anything. JCC has worked his magic again
  5. sorry all i was sussing this out last night its posted elsewhere with pricing now and mascus should be updated in the morning. For anybody interested the machine is ready to work be a shame to rough it up mind
  6. Thank you Eddie, I know I am late but i just wanted to thank you for your recommendation
