<p>Hi , The meter leaver pop off pressure tends to be very high on saws with this issue , the spring needs to be modified to set a lower pressure , this is not a task for a home mechanic . if done correctly the saw will start 1/2 pull hot .. there have been stacks of updates / fixes for the 550xp but the main problem is they run lean to meet emission regs . get it off to a good dealer and see how they get on first ..</p>
