  2. Ok thanks, what County are they on? As pretty much all the County's of the time were Ford 5000 based I think the cab assembly is the same for all of them, so could be useful If I'm over that way I'll send you a message
  3. Hi I'm new to this forum. I'm interested in forestry machinery and have a collection of vintage chainsaws. I'm also into model engineering. I'd like to build a few models of James Jones converted County tractors. In particular a Highlander skidded and an 1164 Highland Bear forwarder. The earlier type machines with a Jones cab and the crane mounted directly on the roof. Does anyone own such a machine I would be able to have a look at, and take a few pics and some measurements. I'm in West Sussex, near Worthing, but regularly travel to Tunbridge Wells, so ideally something around that area. many thanks
