  1. I have the breatheflex & find them comfortable, I have a pair of type A & C in long leg, fit is perfect, the back flap, just fold it inside & it seems to stay put OK. I also have the airstreams & find them comfortable as well. I'm mostly on the ground but climb a little now & then & both the trousers & boots suit me fine in both situations.
  2. I've done quite a bit of rock climbing over the years, both sport & traditional & have just started climbing (trees) I found although knot knowledge will help, as will a head for heights, the muscles you use are different so will take a little while to transition. Plus it feels completely different climbing a tree to climbing a rock face I found.
  3. I'm a 13.5 usually & just managed to pick up a pair myself in 14 (50), really comfortable now they are starting to wear in, felt a bit clumsy & awkward at 1st. Damned expensive though.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
