  2. Never mind the Rugby what about Georgia? Yeah we must be tight up here builders bags are down to between 850 and 750kg now at some merchants. I remember always used to be a ton!
  3. Yeah it is worth it I guess for the price. My 652 is amazing, eats wood no probs. See there going for around £500 now,I got mine for £240 last year. Just wish parts were easier to get and a little cheaper. Going to be extremely careful with it now.
  4. Had the wood burning stove on last 2 nights, first time since May. It's beautiful and sunny this evening though here near Edinburgh
  5. Yeah just got 4 to 5 week wait for parts from abbey, swindon. guess they getting them from Germany. Disappointing that Solo never got back to me, maybe mailed them 5 times!
  6. Now finally got all parts ordered. Good saw but parts far to hard to get, so I dont recommend Solo saws. Air filter is going to cost me £32.50 aswell
  7. I reckon, you'd fill 5 builders bags. On gumtree here in central Scotland most firewood/log sellers are around £90-£120 for a builders bag of seasoned hardwood.
  8. Hi all, thanks for everyone's help. I've been in touch with Lely and they no longer deal with Solo but they are going to check there limited left over parts for the bits I require. So fingers crossed

  10. Thanks very much shavey. Love the saw, could do with a new air filter now as well! Hopefully I can find where to get spares. Cheers

  12. Cheers Darren, Not tried handy distribution. Ive been trying http://www.solo-germany.com no reply. quite dissapointed
  13. Hi all, newbie here. Hope someone can help. I bought a solo 652 chainsaw last year for a great price. Was a bit wary before I purchased it as I had never heard of Solo. I checked out lots of reviews and went for it and its been great totally awesome. However, unfortunately I dropped a big log on it breaking the handle cup and throttle lock mechanism. I have taped it up and can still use it. I have searched the whole web looking for somewhere to buy parts for this saw but cant find anywhere. I have emailed Solo direct on numerous occasions but they don't reply.http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiliesmodern/thumbdown.gif Does anyone know where I can buy spares for this saw? Many thanks for reading.
