  1. I've got a 'field' of ivy to clear (ground level). Was thinking of using my bracken basher on it, maybe follow with a harrow to rip some up. Would either of these methods work? Any other suggestions?
  2. This is my percheron, Bella. This is just using swingle tree though we also have a forwarder/arch (the one designed by Doug Joiner), a sled and a harrow. The harness is a converted driving harness (breast band swapped out for neck collar and back band replaced here with a maclellan military saddle)
  3. Based on a nova-scotian logging sled

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
