I always split with 2 axes at arms reach. Fiskar is the go to axe for me but always keep my heavy man sized axed (don't know the brand) for the odd log that requires a bit of weight persuasion

The isuzu is a great truck, turning circle is better than your average car and handles weight and towing like a beast. But if it senses the slightest bit of damp weather in a 24 hour period it'll spin like Kylie Minogue on ketamine. I'd say it's the weapon of choice if your gang also run a 4x4 to pull the bloody thing out of sticky spots or get the chipper places that can't go (anything other than tarmac)

Does anyone run a Toyota Dyna? Just curious to know what they're like as an arbtruck, small, compact, Toyota engine , good turning circle 👌. Do they carry weight well etc?

These fast track courses frighten me... you learn the very basics of using a saw on the ground, don't allow time and experience to master that to a half decent level then are put up in a tree

Anyone know if this actually became a thing... 7 years is long enough to perfect it I reckon? 🤔😁

The Peruzzo TB100C Self propelled chipper demonstrator arrived today, I must say the build quality is excellent. looks really well made. Talk it out for its first walk today and it behaved impeccably. This unit can also be converted to a Dumper with 4 bolts and the help of a hoist or fork truck.
Will try and do a video of it working tomorrow.

There wasn't any noticeable play in the centre bearing but it was enough to cause the vibes. Would love to convert the back properly but I'm too scared to take the tub off incase I find rot on the chassis. Not really worth the money converting an 02 plate so when I do it'll be a protipper. Co. Uk joby, then I can put it easily onto another truck. Keep us updated on the conversion bud 👍
I think the pro-tippers are currently going through a redesign

Wishing I bought the 2511 instead of the 360tes. As much as I like the 360

Double cab you're looking towards 3k as an ally tipping chip box

I'm sure "technically" the single cab isn't tax deductible and the double is. Just saying

I wasn't having a dig, just thought I'd question it before something happened not so fun. One last thing, buy some leather gloves (ones used on the rigs or whatever), allows for you to let the rope run through your hands without getting "warmed up" to much and gives you more control. Happy Rigging IVECOKID👐

Simple fix 👍. Just instead of coming back on yourself just keep the flow. Larger bend radius and more wraps of required. Does that make sense ? 🤔

watch the way you wrap the rope, as IMHO the 1st turn round the peg on the drum looks a bit tight on bend radius since its got most of the load before you loose load by friction.hope this makes sense
Yeah looks like he's using his own device wrong. Why have you gone back on yourself creating a tight bend?
