  1. Was just up at a friends and got talking about a large dead oak (5ft base of the trunk)at the bottom of the paddock which could quite possibly fall on top of one of the barns. Problem is that it is sitting in a hedge line, but we're not sure who owns the tree as its half and half, though the council do not maintain the hedges but strictly half of the tree is on there land. Shall we just fire up the saw and dead wood it or best wait and let the wheels of bureaucracy do the grinding Ps I've got very little experience in the world of tree felling
  2. Hell yeah need it to get through some of the roasts that come out of the oven
  3. Hi all Thanks for all the replys. Unfortunately I haven't long finished work and thought it mildly anti-socish to go outside and ringing the guts out the saw. Thank you for all that were concerned for my Saftey with said saw, I have to admit that on our first outing I was apprehensive, but being that I commonly work at height ride sports bikes go skiing got sent to scout camp as a child, I thought I can negate risk with you tube instructional videos!
  4. Hi all I'm a complete novice when it comes to chainsaws. I recently bought a second hand ms441 with a 30" bar, but when I'm using very little oil appears to be getting to the chain. So my question is how lubricanted does the chain have to be?
  5. I recently bought a 2010 second hand 441 with a 30" bar on it off eBay. Though I have to admit ive never used a chainsaw before so ive got nothing to compare it to, it tore through an old oak that had fallen at the yard.
