  1. Cooperative machinery ownership never works in agriculture, Buy your own mill if you think there's extra work to be had out there. Or get someone in. I'm in a similar situation,and have just bought a second hand Peterson sawmill.
  2. My red and black 550 was delivered today(Jonsered 2253) awsome saw, seems to do a lot of work on a tank full of fuel. The book says too start them off with hard work but not high revs. Put mine to work sawing 10'' -14" larch logs lengthways into quarters for fencing posts.
  3. I'm waiting for the delivery of a Jonsered 2253 from the states any day! (HUSKY 550XP clone) better be good or my saving will be spent on the diagnostics software!
  4. Hi, all, new to the forum, just bought the above saw, a bargain off e-bay, only problem is that there doesn't seem to be a switch to turn off the heated handles. I've had a good look and can't see that there has ever been a switch on the saw. many thanks John
