  3. Thanking you Silky fox - throwing everything at it but the kitchen sink on that job. Love my pfanner Protos helmet, wouldn't be without it now but recommend to any potential buyers to purchase a second set of liners - that helmet stank can build up fast

  5. Thankyou Sean , Props and kind comments are much appreciated especially when it was a hard graft kinda job Ben
  6. Yah Jonny I was fearful that those first pieces were going to produce a few tears myself but I needed to clear that lower section ruthlessly so I could get up to the tasty pieces above. and no I do not possess a GRCS or a Hobbs but would dearly love to that whole job was done with a couple of portawraps Ben

  19. Hi Mick , nah you are reading it correctly sir - the chains needed to be a bit higher and I was over ruled by the crane op on that one . only thing going my way was the positioning of the chains and the quick reflexes of the crane op once the piece separated in getting it away from me. a little bit poopy moment to remind every one about the balance of a load and not one I care to repeat. Ben
  20. thankyou Jomoco and your self sir - stay safe out there. Ben
  21. takedown I inherited from another climber who muffed it up like a muppet and then ran away when his lowering rope ( cheap old three strand) broke on some main timber nearly killing a staff member on the ground. lowered out the fluff and the secondary timber that was left and craned out the main timber with a 16 tonner. contract climbing means Ambush from time to time... cheers Ben.
  22. pruning a Himalayan cedar Ben
  23. too busy training for the climb comp after work? haha its all good Jesse appreciate the props
  24. Thankyou Jomoco, I am still waiting to film that all hand saw euc prune for you but haven't forgotten Ben
  25. Thank you very much Mick, I also hand out compliments to all the crew during a job for what ever reason the rope man is the bossman of that company and a twenty year vet in the industry - I told his son and the upcoming climber at Bradleys that I was keeping him and they were not getting him back
