Yeah I guess it's different every day

Forestry = physically hard work, little return unless you work flat out all the time, awful if the weather's rough but usually a nice environment to work in.
Tree surgery = less physically demanding, better return, more tea breaks to hide from bad weather, but having to deal with more people.
EDIT: forgot one of the best bits of Forestry - no tidying up to do usually
So both got there ups and downs then but tree surgery sounds tone better income and less demanding then

Yeah to be honest I never thought of that it's a good idea but to start off with if need money and to get how to run a business so what would be better to start as?

I am at college doing forest and arb but unsure what to do when I leave either tree surgery, forestry, or firewood? What would people recommend? I'd love to become self employed in the future! Thank you!

Yeah that sounds good that does I do bits of gardens ATM like hedges and grass and stuff after college and I have all my tickets I will throw bits of tree work In I think
