  1. Forestry = physically hard work, little return unless you work flat out all the time, awful if the weather's rough but usually a nice environment to work in.

     

    Tree surgery = less physically demanding, better return, more tea breaks to hide from bad weather, but having to deal with more people.

     

    EDIT: forgot one of the best bits of Forestry - no tidying up to do usually

    So both got there ups and downs then but tree surgery sounds tone better income and less demanding then
