  1. Hi

Looking for another climber 1-2 days per week till February. On a rolling basis as part of 7 person team alongside another very good climber (each of the days has different person in). I don't mind whether its 1-3 days required as diversity in the climbing staff is what its all about to aid in developing techniques and help progress less experienced members of the team.

We're looking for someone to share work load on technical stuff or better still if its safe to get 2 up. Need to be into quality Arb.

    Rates: £130-150

Also due to someone having a Holiday! I have Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays available for 4 weeks from 5th September.

Email: [email protected] if interested or call 01162392233

  2. Hi all this is in its infancy at the moment, but wondered if anyone interested would like to put a marker down.

I'm setting up some low impact woodland work on 25 acres woodland and would need 2 people ideally with some experience of working with horses (or very keen to learn) with felling skills to work on thinning a woodland. There would probably be a bit of timber moving with machinery as well loading firewood processors etc. But I would imagine around half a day every day with the horses.

We're based in Leicestershire and if this is of interest then please email [email protected]

  3. Due to a sudden change of circumstances we are looking for another climber or climbers 1-5 days a week to suit on an on going basis. Start ASAP 5 days a week on-going not a problem as up to my neck in work and can be indefinitely!

If you are looking for a day or 2 a week and have spares on occasions (ie someone lets you down) I can fill late available slots when they arise too.

Self-employed role, rates based on skill set and ability / productivity.

    Email: [email protected] if interested.

  4. Have an opportunity for either someone that may be newly qualified in the industry, specialist ground worker, or someone stuck dragging brash that wants an opportunity to progress.

Role will be split to undertake the stump grinding (30%) work and groundie work (70%) on a self employed basis 5 days a week.

There will be potential to develop for the right person thru to climbing if required. Training can be given for stump grinder operation.

A Driving license is essential and ideally a minimum of chainsaw licence.

Rates dependant on experience and qualifications.

email: [email protected] for more info

  5. How much pressure and throughput of air are people putting through their drying floors.

I am looking at installing a drying floor and need to be able to dry arb chip, which being of different particulate size I imagine doesn't let the air flow thru it too easily (albeit only 1m deep to dry).

Is there a figure / equation that is the norm for such applications?

    Regards Mike

  6. Hi looking for a climber self employed, regular days every week or take up free slots.

Based just off M1 Junction 21a in Leicestershire.

Varied work from large technical dismantling to hedge reductions and everything between.

If interested or even if you have a few spare slots we always like to work with different skilled and experienced people.

    email: [email protected]
