  1. Maybe it’s because I am on the App I could not see any information on your page as I did look. The wording of your question maybe threw me off also. Have pm’d you, cheers Rich.
  2. Aye cheers man just thought I would put the shout out and then if anything comes up can take it from there.
  3. I was quite hopeful when I saw two replies in my inbox but no just standard Arbtalk replies. Haha cheers guys
  4. Hello can anyone point me in the direction of anyone looking for climbers in Norway. 4 years experience, own transport, climbing kit and saws. Cheers
  5. How is the pay out there, day rate? Cheers

  11. Also jay smith with tree life was attendance required or could you do everything through distance learning?
  12. Cheers guys, I haven't studied in a while but i have done to a uni standard in engineering so could dust off the cobwebs. Would you say you could go straight to the level 4 without doing the level 2? I have a good bit of practical experience but very limited knowledge on biology, disease and that side of things. Myerscough says its a year online for either course. Again any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Main saws!

200t, 550 and 372 with 24" bar all great saws in their own right. Love everyone of them such a good setup. Only saw that i would say compares to anyone of them is the stihl 461. I would maybe consider getting a bigger saw and then put a 20" on the 372 but seems to pull fine, tiny bit slow in proper hard wood.
  14. Hi, not to be patronising but do you follow the hot start instructions? ie 5 pumps half choke? I know older foke that are used to normal non electronic carbs struggle starting the modern saws at times. I find every saw has its own slightly different starting routine.
  15. Hello any help here would be greatly appreciated from people who are currently doing it or have completed it all ready, please throw in your two cents. I have been in the industry for a couple of years now, I am capable at climbing and looking to further my knowledge of the industry. I was looking at the level 2 rfs course, I see there are a number of places that do it (myers, hcc). I am looking to do it purely online as I stay in Scotland and sub contract my weeks out. Sorry if this has been posted about but i could only find very old info through the search function. Cheers
