    yep run it on a 28" with 3/8 chain, what sort of work you doing with it, arb or forestry?

    thats the best rate for chestnut in kent, others are paying 1000-1300 tops cant see why its a problem, how long do you think it will take to do the acre?

    Had a mountain hardwear for 7 years waterproofed it every year, cost 120 i think

    I Have the opportunity for someone to get into forestry or someone already working in the industry. Work is varied from oversize softwood, windblow, big oak, firewood and chestnut to name a few. Basic cs 30/31 certs , own saw, ppe, transport and ability to do a good days work is a must. Im willing to take people on a paid trial. work is in sussex/hampshire If your still interested and thinking of giving it a go forestry is hard work but very rewarding.
