  1. Some awesome pictures of the Sequoia @ mdvaden- Are you familiar with what the employment needs are for management or indeed study of Coastal Redwoods in the USA? I'm currently working towards a degree in Arboriculture, and i've a very strong interest in Cupressaceae, in particular Sequoia, and would love an opportunity to work with them in some shape or form. I appreciate you may not be able to answer this, but you don't know if you don't ask
  2. Hey all, I'm Wes, currently studying at Myerscough College on the FdSc Arboriculture degree Loving it so far as we approach the end of the 1st year, and discovering a strong preference to the Dendrology and surveying work, something I'm hoping to be able to gain some work experience in. It's all completely new as a subject and industry for me, having done a days work experience with the local Tree Officer. Hoping to gain some good advice through here, possibly some contacts and just enjoy the community CS30/31 obtained, rest to go when the projects for the degree let up!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
