  1. Hi, still got the problem with the kaaz mower transmission not engaging properly ( dog clutch must be knackered) but now making a whining sound even when the dog clutch has fully engaged? Is it gonna be worth my while trying to repair this? Or should i strip for parts and buy another? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KeanRHmALP8
  2. hi my asuka tn195 needs a new blade bolt, on the parts diagram its listed as a 335m-1020 does anybody know where to get one at a fair price or if honda part 90105 960 710 is the same? thanks
  3. To be honest cant remember %100 going to put it back together and take it from there! Will post on here when its back together. Thanks
  4. That's the trouble i tensioned the cable all the way and it still had the same problem? What oil do you reccomend for the gearbox?
  5. Hi, thanks both for the help much appreciated the dilemma i've got is that i bought the mower off ebay for £85 and was supposed to be "fully working" by the time i got round to using it and discovering the drive issue, a few months had passed so i couldn't take it back. now im thinking should i cut my loses and sell as it is? or is it worth repairing engine runs but needs tweaking to get the best out of it deck has 2 very small holes near the gearbox that need plating. the bag is in good condition. what would you say? also thinking with the drive could it be that the gears are not clicking in properly as said above? how would i check this with the box apart or would it be worth replacing spring and pin that clicks the gears in? (27,28) on diagram. sorry for the long winded post just wanted your opinions. thankyou
  6. http://postimg.org/image/7uc3dpsqh/ http://postimg.org/image/9ayzvgoqb/ http://postimg.org/image/4f3bjio89/ arm looks straight to me, also clutch doesn't look too worn. do you think its warn enough to give me these problems? also i tried to adjust the cable before hand adjusted it fully both ways and it didnt make a difference so im presuming it must be the clutch?
  7. When i went for an interview with virgin they suggested just dig a small hole and lay it :0
  8. Thabks for the suggestions guys, going to have to take it apart and see whats going on in there. Seen this video last night and thinking maybe mine could have the same problem? [ame= ] [/ame]
  9. http://www.kaaz.co.jp/PartList/LM_pdf/LM5360KXA/LM5360KXA-PL-137-ALL-030403_web.pdf very informative, thankyou. from the above parts diagram in your experience which parts are likely to need changing? just weighing up whether its worth repairing or not. or even getting a 2nd hand gearbox (suppose this could end up the same as current box though)
  10. Hi all, got a kaaz lm5360 kxa with a kawasaki fc180v engine. currently got a problem with the drive where it goes "clunk, clunk, clunk" then drives or sometimes does not drive at all or sometimes drives with no problems you get the picture lol. anyway looking for some advice im guessing that something within the gearbox has worn. anybody had this problem before and fixed it? its the 2 speed gearbox which im thinking was similar or the same as some of the older honda's? thanks in advance
