I have not had any problems with it moving around I have it on a dmm ultra O I do have one elastic on the gate side so it wont interfere with the action of the gate but I have always used that rubber band even on my hitch climber pully. Just a safety I like.

I have been pulling up my tail lowering it to around were i want to make my cut then putting an anchor hitch on a biner and clipping it back on the rope and going Down to the tail and pulling it down. Similar style different techniques. -
Got lots of talk about about base attachment but what about the top of a stem. I do a lot of crane removals and need to repeal after hooking the ball. I just wanted to know what other people have been using.
