  1. I figured you might say that but whats the view on the polymer decks? Are they a known for failing?
  2. Are Polymer Mower Decks any good? I'm considering getting a polymer decked Viking MB448T as a relatively cheap and lightweight replacement for my trusty steel decked MB248T that I use on my domestic mowing jobs and consigning it as a backup machine. I'm wondering though if the polymer deck will be really as robust as the steel one on the 248? I do like the look of the Stiga Twinclip 50 as a more robust alternative and perhaps using the old 248 on the smaller gardens but I need to convince myself of the price and weight premium. Phil
  3. Thanks Ive seen that others have fitted attachements direct onto a strimmer/brushcutter. I was hoping to combine them and get a 'medium reach' set up. One question though ... aside from the driveshaft are the kombi accessories actually any different from the non kombi ones?
  4. Rather than buy a KM94 Kombi tool Im thinking of getting the FS94 Brushcutter and using it when needed with hedge trimmer / saw attached in place of the brushcutter head. Im wondering though if I got the kombi vairiants of the hedge trimmer / saw with the drive shafts I could use these with a kombi joining bracket to get a longer reach tool. Is this practicle? Has Stihl made the main drive shafts different on the KM94/FS94 and would it be managable when connected? Phil
