Cheers guys have to say it is one of the bigger reductions I have done 29 m to the tips. Fair play to Tom I wouldn't have got it finished by myself

Anyone no how long it will be before it is on the shelves and how much it's going to cost ?

I think if you got the art ropeguide you won't regret paying the extra money worth every penny it will save a lot of energy and great for choking around a stem.

Yes mate that's me

Is the last pic oo long melford church mate?
-
If its less time consuming less frustrating and easier it must be worth every penny cheers old mill

I bought some cougar at Christmas from tree stuff I think I paid $80 shipping but seem to remember the price of the rope was quite cheap so not the end of the world a great rope too

Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the rope knight how good is it and is it worth the money?

Hi all had my first real play on the uni at work this weekend on some big trees which at time was a real joy although a little daunting when using the uni for access I was using it in conjunction with a pantin hand ascender and a sling as a chest harness to tend the slack. My question is when making smaller moves during work positioning.around the crown what is the most affective way of tending slack I had a bit of a play with a rads system when going out on some long limbs which seemed to work ok. Any help or useful tips is much appreciated as I'm pretty new to srt and the uni

Defiantly worth getting a rope guide and a thinner tightly woven line will help with tending
-
Ali bashlins for me very comfortable light weight I too like the long gaffs. Bit pricey tho but should last you forever
-
Very nice job well done

Second the ct

Exactly. Going back to DdRT is purgatory and it was obviously invented by a sadist!
I hope no spiderjackers read this or there'll be another Arbtalk bun fight!

Art positioner with swivel is brill I came from micro and distel and much prefer the positioner as its very compact and predictable
-
That is unbelievable
-
The CT is very good I'm new to the idea of using a foot ascender and have had very few probs with the rope popping out
-
I have to agree I prefer the tree gaffs

Hi all I saw this book on sale the other day and wondered what it was like I'm keen to learn as much about srt/ stwp as I can as at the mo this is the only place that I'm getting any info. So is it any good?
Cheers luke

I second that the spiderjack with ropeguide is awesome very little rope ware. Not sure what the self tending of the zz 2 is like but the spiderjack is far superior to the 1
