  7. We require 2 x climbers to work on a prestigious contract in Sheffield. This would ideally suit 2 young guys looking for a start in the industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a large company doing all aspects of tree work. The applicants as a minimum require CS,30,31,38 and preferably 39. Also be highly motivated show initiative and be willing to graft hard! In return you will recieve a competitive salary, training and investment in your personal development after a probationary period! Experience is not necessary just a willingness to learn and work hard! Be warned we don't suffer fools or prima donnas, you will be required to work a trial day as part of the interview process. 13. Always a comedian around! The bags hold a m3 as stated! Not builders or dumpy bags! I currently sell my timber by the ton straight from site but wish to expand into firewood market! I have the potential for 500 ton minimum as split logs per year!
  14. My initial price will be £50 per m3 bag with supply n demand then dictating this price! I also have poorer quality firewood eg chestnut lime plane etc which will be around £35 -40
  15. Are there any firewood suppliers out there, that would be willing to buy their logs already split in m3 bags?
  16. Hey all, I'm toying with a few ideas and doing a bit of research. I currently do logs on a very small scale but wish to expand. I have the timber available and it is my intention to split and process logs into 1m3 bags and sell these in bulk rather than to individual customers. The timber would be mostly unseasoned or partially seasoned and would consist of ash, sycamore cherry and beech or whatever the customer demanded. I am based in the Sheffield area, I was wondering what I could realistically expect to charge and is there a market for it in the first place?
