  1. I wear a Casio G-Shock G-7900 every day. It has four alarms, two stopwatches and a countdown timer. All useful for waking me up, tracking the length of jobs, reminding me of things to do. Date and day (sometimes need reminding), tide graph (personal, for fishing coastal areas) and can be frozen then boiled. It is extremely tough. Withstands all weather, dust, mud, scrapes and knocks. It is quite chunky but I've never had it snag. A slimmer model that can withstand the same punishment is the Mudman G-Shock. Not sure of it's features but I know someone who has worn it every day doing the same work with no problems. Just prepare yourself for all staff on site to always ask you the time constantly

If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
