  3. Hi I've got around 35 loads roughly 1.25m3 of seasoned hard wood 90% ash need to get rid as I'm moving. Been selling for £110 a load of past three years no trouble so looking for £3000 Thanks
  4. Hi chaps,I've got a private job to do that involves clearing lots of wind damaged willows. They are big and loverly and straight, think they where originally planted for cricket bats. I've told the customer that I won't take the wood as it's no good to me as firewood,BUT as it's so straight It seems such a shame. Can you burn willow if it's really dry? How long does it take to get dry? Any opinions on this? Thanks lance
  5. My stihl ms 260 is being a right arse to start when cold at the mo, it's really hard to pull over (catching) then It spits fuel out of the exhaust and it's fine and continues to be until fully colds again? Any ideas?
  6. Thanks for that,I'm in the east tho lol At the end of the day I'm happy with the price and so are the customers so happy days I suppose

  10. Seriously feel your pain there! Why the hell don't they just buy in direct from you in m3? Could be worth finding where they live and popping round to explain? Extra business ;-)
  11. After a good splitting axe? What do people suggest?
  12. I had these made for me a month ago by a top furniture maker in my area but due to a unexpected move I've got to sell. It's a solid character elm top with a solid oak base...coffee table and dinning table that seats 6-8???
  13. I've been told this before Steve,it's a good idea I know it's only a fiver but a hundred quid sounds slot more than nighty five. Reduce the load size it will be
  14. I'm lucky enough to source my wood for free so in on a nice little number. I'll be honest this is my first proper year and I've sold out at 100 loads! Never expected it to be so good first year, will try to double at least next year. Might go up to £100 a load and see what happens
