  2. Yes it is roadside you put the timber on the road side and the driver collects it that even included delivery of an hours drive
  3. Big B Im talking about wholesale prices And the dealers wont even pay that, they want it for next to nowt processed or unprocessed and they are prepered to do the work them selfs just to get it for nothing There paying a 1000 pound for an artic load of timber
  4. Not selling it by the tone selling it by the cube I though 45 quid a cube by the wagon load sounds a fair price Are they wood dealers or want some fire wood to burn? I dont live anywhere near there mate Just want it sold when I leave so best to sell to a dealer who will hold onto it until next season
  5. What makes you say that? graham (who sewers by northern tools) says that saw would do my job and he also said that it is one of the northern tools brans, where a company who makes saws put a different brand name on it and sell at a discount rate

Never had a problem with Northern Tools stuff I have bought in the past Always found it of decent quality and good value for money 51.2cc 20 inch Petrol Chainsaw | Northern Tool + Equipment But 120 quid delivered for a 20" bar 49cc Dose this sound worth buying 20" bar how big of a log do you think I can cut thanks JT

Hi Will be logging up there next month and will be looking for some buyers before I go Have spoken to some people and the problem is they only want to buy it in timber 2.5 meter length by the tone not processed firewood I wont get much money for it selling it unprocessed and I know its a lot of work processing it but I want to make a job out of it while Im there Anyone have any contacts of people in the area that will buy it as ready firewood Thanks JT

I have bough things from Argos in the past They told me they offer a 1 year warranty and if it brakes in the first 45 days they will replace or refund it but if its after the 45 days they said they would have to send it back to the manufacturer, which would mean you would be with out your saw Having looked at 'the Sale of Goods Act' im not so sure as it says the seller has a duty to refund or replace the item not who they got if from Did they change the item for you there and then? what went wrong with your saw when you took it back Did you find the saw under powered and if so did it stall on big logs Thanks JT

  22. Interesting photo thanks We used to get 26 pallets on the floor of a curtain sider so thats 52 pallets stacked on top of each other do you only have 44 pallets due to the weight? What kind of netting do you use round the pallets how do you get the netting to hold the wood together in a cube so it dose not fall off I can see some kind of yellow band around it and did you have to buy the pallets

  24. googled it and only found photos and web sites of companies delivering lengths of timber If one was to process firewood on site and have a haulage contractor pick it up with a 44T artic 1. what type of trailer would they use 2. how do they expect it bagged 3. how much weight and volume of hardwood can they fit on Thanks JT
