  1. My bad. I didn't realize you mentioned the fixed cheek. That's a great idea. Fixed my little OCD problem.
  2. I may be a little OCD because I didn't like the single tether off to the side. I also didn't think it was necessary to use a hitch climber with the oceans tether. I did start using it at first though. Personal preference.
  3. With the single loop tether you need the carabiner, so the hitch climber makes sense. With the two looped tether you eliminate the extra carabiner so there's no need for the hitch climber. Also by using the two looped tether the rw tends MUCH nicer. Almost to the point where you don't need to tend it yourself at all.
  4. I feel it depends on the tether. If you are using a tether with a single loop towards the hitch I would use the hitch climber. If you are using a tether that has two loops towards the hitch (like the Oceans Tether) I use a micro pulley.
  5. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled. So I'm up in a little bit of pain researching some newer SRT goodies. Like the rope runner. That always puts a smile on my face.
  6. I have climbed with the rw for over 2 years now and see a lot of possibilities with the rope runner. If it is at all possible I would love to demo this and give feedback. I also work with 3 other guys who climb srt in various ways. I could give you more information if you think this is a possibility.
