  1. I use the HRX 476 (which is the 19" model) for domestics. Whilst for commercial use or bigger lawns I use the HRX 536 (21" model). The 19" model is ideal for domestics though, not very heavy and easy to manouver. There's plenty on eBay. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I've been using Honda mowers for years now, upgraded to the HRX models a while back, they are pretty decent. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. I'm hoping to do my cs30 / 31 with these in June or July. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Thanks mate
  5. They sound pretty good, what's the going price for them? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Thanks for that. It's appreciated, I'll drop you a pm tomorrow regarding payment etc. Whereabouts are you located by the way? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Thanks for the reply Jamie I'm actually a 32" waist / 34" leg, but get into a 34" waist too with jeans etc, so guessing chainsaw pants are the same. I'm doing the cs30 / 31 tickets, but going to be doing the others in the future too. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. I'm a landscaper by trade and I am soon to be going into doing my CS tickets. However, wherever I look online, eBay, other shops etc, I'm finding it hard to find chainsaw trousers in my size. 34" waist / 34" leg It seems that the 34" leg is only available in larger waist sizes and will be to big for me. Has anyone any suggestions on where I could get some decent ones from without breaking the bank? Thanks in advance Ant Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I'm sure I seen a Lego Millennium Falcon online a while ago, that was about one metre in length. Must if cost about a grand or more! I'd love one of them though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Back again. I enquired about this last time I posted to various places, and then things popped up, moving, new job etc and my plans for training all fell through. Anyhow, I still want to do it. I've been told that both these courses would be around £800+ Is that right? Also, can anyone recommend anywhere (preferably cheaper), I don't mind traveling either. Thanks again for your help Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Can't beat lego. I love the stuff and I'm 35 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Had a look at the Cumbria woodlands one, Any ideas which ones if these are worth going for? They're not labelled cs30 and so on, So I'm not sure if they're the same thing? Sent from my eyePhone using my phone
  13. Thanks for that, I'll give them a ring. Not sure about my chances though, as I'm in Manchester (unfortunately). Sent from my eyePhone using my phone
  14. I've just read the comments above, does Rease Heath College offer help with funding? Sent from my eyePhone using my phone
  15. After being made redundant twice and looking for alternative work and still having no luck. I was wondering if there is any funding at all for the CS30 / 31 etc courses? As I do like working outdoors and believe this type of work is ideal for me. I've looked online and haven't had much luck finding places regarding this, and the courses I have found seem well out of my affordability. I am 34 and based in Glossop close to the Manchester area if anyone can help or knows of anywhere it would be very much appreciated. Sent from my eyePhone using my phone
  16. We've been using Honda mowers since 1984. They've always been cracking machines, reliable etc. ours were always used for commercial maintenance programmes. A good model which we now use is the Honda HRX 537HX This is a 21" cut, on a polymer deck. Hydrostatic drive and fairly large grass bag. It also has a mulching option too. A handy bit of kit.
  17. Hello all, After recently finding this site via Google, I thought I'd join as I've been looking into getting the Cs31/32 qualification. Lots of useful advice etc on here, it's going to take me a while to read through and see what's what though.
