    Buxtons

A few months ago, I replenished some of my karabiners from Buxton's. Climbing the other day one of the karabiners failed, first DMM karabiner I have had that has failed. This failed at the hing of the gate. I phone Buxton's to inform them about it, I got told to post and send a covering letter with it, but working around the Corner I pop in to return it. The response I got, was a procedure is to send this back to DMM to investigate what went wrong and I be contacted in the near future, that's cool I expected that. I said to the person who served me what do I do for a replacement? Responded: you will have to buy one. This is not what I was told on the phone 45mins ago, " return the karabiner and we will place it." This was not to case and the customer service I was hoping to receive, not even a sorry for the inconvenience. Rant over
