  8. Hello everyone, Being new to the industry and trade, I am currently seeking a beginning in the building of my skills and experience. I am self funding my training and qualifications and have recently gained CS30/CS31 & CS38. In addition to this I have applied to study RFS Level 2 Cert Arb and I'm soon to undertake CS39 & Woodchipper Operations Training. I was wondering if there are any Ground Staff positions available anywhere in the North West area (Wirral, Merseyside, Chester etc) or would there be any possibility of a few days work in any capacity to build up more job experience? I have at present all my own PPE. I have worked as a Labourer in previous years and I am CSCS qualified . I am punctual, reliable, hard working and honest and more than willing to undertake any aspect of ground work. I have a full, clean pre 1997 UK Driving License. I am dedicated to learning from those who know the trade best and eager to build up a personal skill level that enables me to work full time within this industry. Given a chance I can assure you I will not let you down. Please PM if there's any opportunity or any help you can afford, it will be greatly appreciated indeed. I can also be contacted on # 07917608124. Thanks so much for your time. All the best Scott
  9. Brilliant find! Straight away brought to my mind the Roselli hatchets, but that forged socket design must go way back, who knows how old it could be! Be really interesting to know
  10. Y'can find it on Amazon, 8 fl.oz bottle for about a fiver (not including P&P), lasts for ages so ain't too bad!
  11. For chopping boards and the like, we've been using 'Catskill Butcher Block Oil', basically a food grade mineral oil, works great. Anything that you might wish to buff to a shine, fruit bowls etc, 'Clapham's Bees Wax' is brilliant!
  12. Is there a general way of breaking in a new saw, or set differences from saw to saw? Getting my funds together in hopes of a new saw (my first!) just wondering how and what to do and maybe how you guys go about it. Thanks for any help!
