  1. A 14 ton load of unseasoned various hardwoods would make how jumbo builders bags? I'm thinking around the 30-40 mark?
  2. Need a replacement set of gear linkage cables and they are a crazy £330+vat a pair. Second hand and the cheapest I've found is £240 delivered. Anyone got any recommendations? Scrap it hear She's an 03 plate Cabstar Tipper
  3. What would you recomend for under a £1000? Would like kubota diesel but too expensive so will opt for a petrol one for the amount of work I have for it. Will only be using it for about 10-15 hours a week next year. Mostly collecting but some cut and drop. Hear so many different opinions on some to avoid.
  4. Kawasaki 460v engine Thanks guys, It's a Scag I'm after anyway, just wanted to run this one by you
  5. I bought a Tanaka hedge timmer attachment last week and if I had used you guys it would have been £15 cheaper with the free postage.
  6. Anyone know much about these? One for sale local and it would be handy for me come grass cutting season.

Bought an 06 Thunder 18 months ago and its been brilliant. It had done 100k but I haven't spent a penny on it in that time.
  8. Hi, I'm Will, My work revolves around Ground Maintenance, Gardens, Coal & Log Merchant, Garden/House/Shed Clearances. Anything really, Used to be a Coal Merchant 10 years ago and have now started back up. My Ground Maintenance experience revolves around working those 10 years away for various companies and local authorities.
  9. Used laugh at the things my father used to say but they make more sense as I get older. 'A handful of a business is better than a field full of work' Did not mean much to me working for my father when I was younger, but after working 10 years for other people it makes perfect sense. We used to be coal merchants (I am again now) and when we finished in 2002 he used say 'People will come back to Logs and Coal when the Gas & Oil will go up in price' and my God he's right.
