  1. Alright Darren, I'm trying to keep the cost down on a splitter as its not going to be working flat out.. Ill no doubt end up sticking to paying pence to use the farmers corkscrew on the tractor. What made you spend out? Do you sell many logs.. First year it's gone past jan/feb on orders.
  2. True, what's the average ram cycle time on a hydraulic machine? The home made job is 20 seconds.

  7. They seem to have put some time in and know what there talking about which could mean they got all that spot on.. I can get a mate to weld up a table. I will mainly be operating it, radio earmuffs then and your away! Like I've said in a previous post I only use a corkscrew at the mo never had a play with a hydraulic one I don't want it to be depressing watching a ram go back and forth for 5 mins at a time.. Cheers bud

  16. Are they for sale?
  17. Very good question as conditions on a recent job are to replant but there's a lot of work going on on-site so tree won't be planted straight away and client will be doing it themselves at some point. I'd like to think I wasn't liable should he not plant the tree. I'm supplying it so will have proof of purchase. Cheers
